A content writer’s persuasion diary

Write. Persuade. Be a persuasive writer. Present a case that your bosses will find hard to disagree with, write a content that will be hard to deny. And no, this is not manipulation. We all want to believe in a method, find something that convinces us to agree; that source we find dependable. So, why not be a source on which all can depend. We say be a persuasive writer.

Be consistent when you write

When mom said, “do not be fickle minded”, she was right. Of course, Shelley could have been spontaneous, but that’s P.B. Shelley. In this jet age, we say be consistent, prove your point than flying on the wings of imagination. Incorporate this in your writing, convince your readers and prove your point upfront. Meticulously make your case with a plethora of supporting evidence that points back to the authentication of your view; most likely by then it’s accepted.

The Tribal attempt when you write

In spite of our claims and endeavor to be civilized, urbane, social and evolved creatures, in the core of it, we human beings are secluded by nature. Give them an exclusive choice that no one else could have and that’s it! They will buy whatever you are selling. This is something that is employed in writing some of the best sales letters of the world. Invite them to something, seemingly excluding others and convincing becomes a cake walk.

Time for a story

A story always leaves room for persuasion. You might simply confront saying that we cannot make one believe something unless the person himself decide that’s right but it is a fact that better stories renders you a terribly persuasive person.

Prove a prophesy

A great persuasion technique is to provide your readers with a glimpse to the future. If you can convincingly execute an estimation of current events that are likely to make it big in the future, you are all set to see money flowing. Unbelievable, believe it!

There are indeed lots to tell about how your copy can be convincing, and how it can really register you as a dependable source of information but for us, these are the major hits. Try it out!
