The Killers

No, this is not the working title to the next Wes Craven flick.

It is though, these unpaid entities that unknowingly shoot down creativity whenever visible. Well, if they have missed your eye, I’ll be more than glad to point them out to you.

Distraction comes first. This guy tends to draw attention anytime, anywhere and anyhow. He is the annoying brat who can’t get enough of your mind. He expects you to have him on your mind round the clock. He does let you indulge in all the fun-filled stuff to your heart’s content. He steals you away from creativity as soon as the opportune moment arrives. Stand alert for this fellow!

Lethargy is next. He creeps out like a faint shadow from the darkest areas and carefully takes aim. Before you know it – Squish! There’s a tranquilizer dart on your arm and off you go snoring your way into a sub-conscious state of mind. Creativity is off the record during that time-frame.

Rejection follows third. He only expects the best. Somehow, there’s nothing good enough for him. You work your mind through ideas and concepts and then politely present your work to him and all you get from him is a, “Not good enough, try again” retort.

Stay away from these cold-blooded criminals that wait to take down any sign of creativity. Don’t even blink an eye.
