Welcome to ‘Never’shire
Greetings Advertisers! This is Nevershire.
Here, all your eyes will be exposed to a gist of the never-ending errors people commit in digital advertising on websites and blogs.
Take your first step and saunter on…
• NEVER place advertisements that are contrast to your website. Ever heard of the old lady who posted that brilliant advertisement about face-cream on her clothing and wardrobe blog? Well, she lived. (Can’t say the same about her blog though).
• NEVER ignore the terms of service. Unless of course, you want the cops handcuffing you with charges of content plagiarism or relentless keyword-filling.
• NEVER crowd your blog page with unending advertisements. Hey, if they wanted to, they would have rather visited an ad column. They are on your page in search of quality content. So stick to that.
• NEVER say what you can’t do. Or you would end up like the smarty pants lad who swanked off his natural flying skills. It lasted long, until he was asked politely for a demonstration.
• NEVER take the ‘please-notice-me-for-Christ’s-sake’ route. Remember it’s about quality advertising as opposed to desperate advertising. Do not be loud, and you will find more lending an ear.
Well, that’s the end of the Nevershire. If you choose to leave now, it’s purely at your own risk.
