Before writing an effective press release, an outline needs to be prepared describing the key points to be elaborated with all the relevant information. A press release should be in simple words and short sentences. Presence of slang language, controversies and incorrect grammar should be completely avoided in order to prepare an effective press release.

Once the outline is prepared, start identifying the appropriate keywords with the help of free tools provided by Yahoo and Google. Thereafter, developing a relevant headline will assist the reader to get acquainted with the article. However, it is important that the keywords are properly inserted both in the headline as well as the text in order that the content appears to be normal.

Hyperlinks play a very important role and should also be inserted in the content to ensure that the website gets ranked and the press release gets printed on other websites.

Finally, recording the results and evaluating it with the number of hits received by the website will help you realise whether the keywords are effective enough or not.
