Making the best use of SEO with the right emotions

If you are an SEO copywriter, what is it that you concentrate the most on? Most of the time, the answer will usually be ‘finding the right keywords’. But hey, that is not the end of the whole SEO process. Sometimes, concentrating too much on only keywords makes the article or copy dull and boring to read. And there goes your reader base.

It is possible to kill two birds with one stone, which means inserting the right keywords and making the content interesting to read. All you have to do is add an emotional touch to it, and voila, you’ll have the readers eating out of your hand.

The readers want to be able to relate to what you are writing about. If you keep on droning on and on about how great the company and its services are, you will surely put them to sleep. Also, you have to realise, that the information you are providing will always be in the company’s favour, as it is, to a large extent, biased. Instead of forcing these emotions, if you try to let them flow, it would be a much easier task.

Any SEO content based article or copy that you write should inspire the readers. Emotions should be put down in a way that they touch hearts. It is also a good idea to talk about what kind of benefits the readers would avail if they chose your products over another’s. you should be able to tempt them into buying what you are trying to sell.

Another method that always works is to stick to the right emotion, and with the right research, you can tell what you should be using to target the readers with. Also, avoid exaggerations, as readers are not stupid, and will figure out that you are trying to push the product or service in their faces.

Thus, with the help of all the right emotions mixed with strong keywords, you will have a recipe for the perfect sales pitch cocktail. This will definitely help you not only now, but also in the long run.
